French star and Spanish Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe’s account on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter) was hacked early yesterday morning. He posted tweets about Palestine and Argentina’s Messi, but they were later deleted.
At around 3 a.m., the former Paris Saint-Germain striker’s account, followed by 14.4 million users, posted the message “Free Palestine” and attached several Palestinian flags, according to a digital investigation by the AFP unit.
Other posts, saved by many netizens, mocked Inter Miami’s American star Messi while praising Al Nasr’s Saudi star, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, and mocked several clubs, most notably English club Manchester United.
These publications apparently contradict the opinions and comments of Mbappe, who is new to the Spanish capital, Madrid.
