One of the most exciting transfer stories in football history has finally come to an end. After years of difficult negotiations, Real Madrid announced the official signing of French star Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe was joined by Florentino Perez, the president of the Spanish capital club, and they signed the contract together to formally announce the deal.
Mbappe took a photo with Perez and appeared wearing the No. 9 jersey.
Real Madrid are expected to announce the deal for Mbappe in front of the full stands at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium today (Tuesday).
Last June, Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
Today, doctors will also determine Kylian Mbappe’s position on undergoing nose surgery before the start of the new season, after he was injured while playing for France in their first match of the 2024 European Championship.
