Mawazine Festival continued its magic with a day full of emotions and rich musical diversity. At 17:30, the Chellah platform rocked to the tunes of Cuartito Tavi.
The Argentine duo brought an immersive show that blended traditional Argentine rhythms with contemporary music, creating an intimate and warm atmosphere that wowed the audience. Then, at 21:00, the Mohammed V National Theater hosted a unique moment with a three-dimensional hologram of the planet Umm Kulthum in the East, where the acclaimed Egyptian star was evoked in a special digital form, transporting the audience into her immortal world with songs to another era, recalling the amazing legacy she left for the world of Arab singing.
Meanwhile, the Bouregreg Stage also saw great performances from Yamê and Luidji. Yami opened the evening with his raw energy, combining strong beats with resolute lyrics in a set of beautiful songs that captivated the audience from the first note. Luidji then took over the evening, creating a perfect synergy and delivering an unforgettable show with his well-thought-out lyrics and his powerful and inspiring presence on stage. On the Souissi International Stage, Alawn and Ateez shared the stage from 22:00.
The famous French producer and DJ Allon presented a series of enchanting songs, turning the stage into a huge dance floor, with every note of his music warmly inviting celebration and joy. Then, the Korean pop group ATEEZ conquered the hearts of the joyful audience with its impeccable choreography and explosive energy, bringing the evening to a perfect end. At 22:00, on the Nahda platform, the artist Balqis showed her magic.
The Emirati singer captured the hearts of the audience with her powerful voice and songs full of Arabic culture, giving the audience moments of pure emotion and a reconnection with their roots. Meanwhile, the Salé platform welcomed artists Musallam, Ihssan Regragui and Doaa Al-Yahiawi. Muslim, an emblematic figure in the Moroccan rap scene, moved the audience with his poignant and heartfelt words flowing with his unique melodies. Ihssan Regragui added a poetic touch to the evening with her traditional songs, while Doaa Al-Yahiawi closed the evening with a tender and intimate tune.
Tonight, June 23, once again highlighted Mawazine’s ability to bring together talents from different perspectives, creating an extremely diverse mosaic of sounds, with each artist able to share their own world with the Mawazine audience.
