During the summer, Dagens Media checked in with a number of industry profiles to find out how their holiday plans were going and what issues they were facing when they returned to work.
Mathias Berg, CEO of TV4:
What do you look forward to doing in your downtime?
– Recharge your batteries and spend time with your family.
Which media would you choose? no Taking a break during the holidays?
– My media consumption is relatively unchanged. Fewer emails, more football EC and summer talk, but pretty much the same otherwise.
What are the most important issues your company/organization needs to address when you return this fall?
– TV4 continues its transformation into a future-oriented independent publisher, bringing Sweden together on TV4 Play.
What was most challenging about the spring season for you or your company/organization?
– I am extremely impressed with how TV4’s people have managed to make great strides in a short period of time to build the TV4 of the future in terms of content, technology, business and culture. We are looking forward to many successes in the spring, especially in terms of publicity, but it is clear that Carla Facta’s review of the Sweden Democrats’ communications department, combined with the ongoing financial challenges, has brought additional strength to the organization.
