Tehran(Sanaa) – Today, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was sworn in as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Iranian Parliament, in the presence of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, led by Prime Minister Hossein Anous, and dozens of other delegations.
In his speech after taking the oath, Pezerskiyan said: “Our government will be a government of national reconciliation representing all sectors of the people. We will end discrimination and respect human dignity. “We will have the opportunity to make fundamental changes and take the path of the people,” he said, stressing that Iran will not succumb to pressure and arrogance.
“Despite difficult conditions in the region, we held fully competitive elections… We will defend our national honor at the international level and our priority is to strengthen relations with our neighbors,” Bezeshkian said, adding that Iran has always been on the right side of history and will not allow foreign forces to continue to exist in the region.
Iranian President Pezeshkian added, “Those who provide weapons to entities that kill children cannot teach Muslims a lesson in humanity.”
