On Monday, a 28-year-old man was beaten and robbed at his home in Kolebriestraat, Suriname.
It is understood that the victim returned home at night and was hit on the back of the head when he opened the door.
After eliminating the man, two robbers allegedly entered the house. They seized $2,475 and 6,000 Surinamese dollars.
When the victim regained consciousness, he contacted his family, who rushed him to the University Hospital emergency department.
The Geyersvlijt police are investigating the case. Efforts are currently underway to track down and arrest the perpetrators who are still at large.
