The 27-year-old was arrested on Wednesday for robbing a kiosk in Limassol and has been issued a six-day detention warrant.
Police have obtained statements against him in four other recent thefts in Limassol.

According to the police, A robbery occurred On Tuesday evening, the complainant reported that the perpetrator, a young man, shirtless, entered a kiosk and began grabbing products from the shelves, some of which he placed down his pants.
To stop the thief from leaving, the 23-year-old employee locked the door but the man allegedly attacked him with a plastic bat.
The employee went to Limassol General Hospital for treatment for a hand injury.
The thief then managed to open the door and escape, taking three cartons of cigarettes from a shelf next to the cash register on his way out.
He was arrested on Wednesday after police obtained a statement against the 27-year-old man.
