(CNS): Police have arrested a 23-year-old man from Bodden Town on suspicion of assault in connection with the stabbing of another man following a business-related dispute. The injured man suffered multiple stab wounds to his legs and back on Tuesday evening and was taken to hospital by private vehicle, where he was treated and later released for non-life-threatening injuries. He had reportedly gone to the other man’s home to discuss business when the two got into an argument.
The Royal Canadian Police College said in a news release that the attacker “used an edged weapon to stab the victim multiple times.” The suspect remains in custody pending further investigation.
