Man arrested for filming patrol officer blocking bike lane, leading to boy’s death

A traffic accident on Kazbegi Street in Tbilisi left one person dead. Patrol officers chased the motorcyclist and subsequently blocked the road, after which the motorcyclist collided with a crew car. The cyclist, a boy aged 20-25, died on the spot.

Another citizen, Gika Modebadze, who was filming the incident live on Tiktok, was later stopped by police from filming, according to his family. According to Modebadze, he was administratively arrested for insulting the police.
