The Great Mamaya of Kankan continued yesterday, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the M’Balou Mady Diakité prefectural stadium, under the chairmanship of the Head of State, General Mamadi Doumbouya. The celebrations were attended by the President of the National Coordination of Guinea Fulbe and Harry Praal, who are sponsors of this major event, accompanied by several collaborators. Guineematin.com, through one of its journalists on the scene, noted that taking advantage of this opportunity, Elhadj Alseny Barry sent a strong message to General Mamadi Doumbouya and the young people of our country.

The leaders of the National Coordination of Guinea, Fulbe and Haripulal, sent a letter to the Head of State on the socio-political crisis in the country. They urged General Doumbouya to entrust national reconciliation to the four regional coordination bodies instead of calling on foreign mediators, stressing that these bodies have the necessary means to resolve this critical issue.

“I have only one message for the President of the Republic: he already has at his disposal sufficient tools for national reconciliation, without foreign intervention or ECOWAS. The four coordinating bodies (three regional and one national) all have principles and ways to promote unity. These structures are essentially apolitical and include those in power and those in opposition. We therefore implore the President not to look elsewhere for hands for this task. Our coordinators are composed of honest executives committed to national unity. We can accomplish this task without adding costs to Guinea, since our members are not paid and do not seek markets. Guinea is our common interest. When things go well, it affects everyone, and when things go badly, it affects all of us equally. May God protect us! My only request is the reconciliation of Guineans. There is brotherhood and unity among nations; the problem is between political parties and those in power. Those who hold power and those who aspire to it belong to the coordination organizations. I believe that coordination can achieve the acceptance of national unity. This is the message I respectfully convey to the head of state,” the economic operator declared.

In addition, Elhadj Alseny Barry called on the youth of Guinea to stop the insults and abuses against elders, leaders and women on social networks. “I have a message for young people: stop using insulting language on social networks. Elders, leaders and women are often the targets of these attacks. I take this solemn opportunity to humbly ask them to stop. This is my message to all the youth of Guinea,” concluded the President of the Coordination of the People of Hale of Guinea.
