Mamardashvili undergoes doping test after match against Portugal

Georgia’s national team goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili underwent a doping test after the team beat Portugal 2-0 to advance to the European Championship play-offs.

“We celebrated in the doping room,” Giorgi Mamardashvili wrote on his Instagram story, posting a photo.

Hvicha Kvaratskhelia and Giorgio Mikutadze scored for Portugal.

Georgia has advanced to the round of 16 and will face Spain.
