French sports brand “Majestee” has been selected to dress the Senegalese delegation at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which will be held from July 26 to August 11. The news was confirmed by the head of the brand.
Around sixty people, including about twenty athletes, will be outfitted from head to toe in “Majestee”. The kit will include caps, jerseys, shorts, tracksuits and socks. The equipment has already gone on sale at the headquarters of the brand’s Senegalese branch, located on the outskirts of Dakar. In fact, the Montpellier sportswear brand was chosen by the Senegalese Olympic Committee to outfit its entire delegation. Therefore, from July 26 to August 11, the athletes will wear specially designed clothing during the opening ceremony in Paris and during the competitions.
“Majestee” is not its first collaboration with the Senegalese delegation, having already designed clothing for the athletes during the last Africa Games. The brand is also well-known in Europe and Africa, supplying equipment to numerous amateur and professional clubs in France, Belgium, Switzerland and several African countries. Among its clients are the Pikine Sports Association (Senegalese elite) and the Vita Sports Club in Congo. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, 11 athletes will represent Senegal in seven sports: athletics, judo, swimming, canoeing, taekwondo, fencing and table tennis. In addition, four athletes will participate in the Paralympics, adding inclusivity to the delegation.
