Several young men would use aggression and attack this man. According to the forensic examination, he had marks of being hit in the abdomen and bruises on the knees and ankles. Burns were also found in his abdomen and blood was coming out of his mouth. Until yesterday, no one had come forward as a family member to the morgue of Toamasina Hospital.
Just this week, another 61-year-old man was found dead in the town of Toamasina, which has attracted widespread attention from those who wish to travel to the country. He was an economic operator in Reunion Island, and according to his wife who has returned to Reunion Island, he plans to officially return home in October next year.
In southern Madagascar, especially in the city center and suburbs of Toliara, the frequent beheadings in recent years have aroused people’s emotions and anger. Local witnesses reported at least two cases of beheadings, who did not want to be named for fear of retaliation from all parties. The criminals’ modus operandi is to decapitate the victim’s head and throw it away separately from the body with the letter left. The victims can be children or adults.
