With the help of the Metropolitan of Metz and Haganis, Pelt Emmaus Community Fellow dedicated to giving a second life to the items they collect at ZeroGaspi collection events held at the city’s recycling centres.
ZeroGaspi collection hours are from April to October, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the following times: First Saturday of the month, at La Seille recycling center in Marly; Second Saturday of the month, at La Houblonnière recycling center in Metz-Nord; Third Saturday of the month, at La Mans recycling center in Ars-sur-Moselle; Fourth Saturday of the month, at Le Pas du Loup recycling center in Metz-Magnis.
This Saturday, July 27, from 9:30 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 5 pm, it is the turn of the Magny Recycling Center to host the ZéroGaspi recycling event. Organised in collaboration with fellow members of the Emmaus community in Perth. The latter play a key role: they collect the objects, restore them if necessary, and resell them in their shop on the Strasbourg Road in Perth.
What garbage can be recycled?
The companions collect many items. Especially textiles, such as household linen, but also shoes, leather goods, decorative items, tableware, lighting, leisure items, such as toys, bicycles or books. Household appliances in good working order are also accepted. Finally, gardening and DIY equipment and furniture in good condition can also be taken back.
