What a beautiful thing it is these days when social media pages are flooded with news and photos of college graduates, and the beautiful scenes are matched by the congratulations, congratulations and sentiments expressed by the friends and family of these graduates.
On the other hand, after the hope of remedial classes was dashed, some websites were flooded with comments asking for administrative promotion, because administrative promotion requires neither preparation nor cost, it has restored hope for many people and saved the people from paying a lot during this difficult period, because in many cases whoever advances to the next academic year can save a year of study expenses, including the cost of advancing to a higher grade, which will not deprive students of university accommodation, which can give students peace of mind and reduce the high costs of their families.
Calls for administrative removal have come from students, families, and everyone directly involved in or overseeing the matter, hoping that an administrative removal order can be issued like last year.
I review the statements made by the Ministry of Higher Education and the National Union of Syrian Students after the issuance of the administrative promotion order last year, and I note that they spoke very comprehensively about the importance of administrative promotion, which imposes a huge financial burden on parents and students, but does not affect the educational process and scientific content, except that some students have to accumulate a large number of subjects, but on the other hand, it is a great opportunity for those who are interested in facing difficult situations.
Today, an executive order is equivalent to planting hope in those souls that are exhausted by everything (including the cruelty of nature), and with some efforts, this hope will turn into smiles and the joy of success for many students.
If this is not a response to students, then it is a response to parents who believe in the science of investment, so they sold their houses, withdrew their loans, and redoubled their efforts to educate their children.
