Car traffic is restricted on the stretch of road from the Presidential Defense Force (formerly UGP) facility to the famous BIC banking area in the city of Talatona, Luanda, from 10pm this Friday, August 23, and it is likely to last for ten days.

The reason is related to the opening of the water pipeline on Avenida 21 de Janeiro, which will supply water to the communities of Inorade, Imbondeiro, Morro Bento I, Morro Bento 2, Gamek, Futungo de Belas and Kawelele.

“On the aforementioned date and at the same time, the crossing of the pipe with a nominal diameter of 800 mm will also begin, for three days, in both directions of National Road 100, near the Angomart supermarket,” said a statement from Luanda Public Water Company (EPAL).

In the aforementioned document sent to the Correio da Kianda, EPAL assures that a multisectoral team is working on the project to normalize vehicle circulation, minimizing restrictions.
