Police are carrying out a large-scale operation in Kampen i district Oslo Norwegian police wrote on X after receiving an explosion and smoke alarm.
According to Norwegian, an area has been locked down daily – but initially there was no information on injured people or destroyed buildings.
A photo taken at the scene by a Daily News reporter showed armed police pointing guns at an apartment in the area.
