Funeral services for the late Lorna Moses, who died at her residence on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Nassau Collins Avenue Gospel Temple.

The Rev. Dr. Gary Curry, the Rev. Dr. Vaughn Cash and the Rev. Oscar Moss will officiate.

She leaves behind her husband, Rev. Dr. Vernon Moses, children, Timothy (Lana) Moses and Mary (Joseph) Mendez, grandson Zach Moses; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Sawyer, Viola Sawyer and Laura Sawyer;
nephews and nieces, Molly (William, deceased) Roberts, Maxine Hayes, Florine Roberts, Eloise Porter, Daisy (Bill) Pitt, Philip (Kay) Roberts, Roy (Eliza) Roberts, Jeffrey Roberts, Maggie (Rupert, deceased) Roberts, Keith (Dale) Sawyer, Edison (Joan) Sawyer, Arlene (Olar, deceased) Bethel, Freddy (Trina) Sawyer, Thomas (Alexander) Sawyer, Reggie Sawyer, Ronnie Sawyer, Donny Sawyer, Roddy (Claudia) Sawyer, Dennis (James) McIntosh, John (Maria) Sawyer and Tracy Russell.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Mamie Sawyer, mother-in-law Gladys Saunders, siblings Lloyd Sawyer, Clarissa Roberts, Marcel Sawyer, Joseph Sawyer, Peter Sawyer, brother-in-law Eastbourne Roberts and niece Bonnie Sawyer.
