– Knut Dahl-Michelsen, operations manager of the Western Police Area, said that at 21:30, police received reports of a bus entering Bygarasjen.

The bus must have gone the wrong way and entered where the cars were parked. Police further wrote that the bus tore off a sign and hit the roof.

– The message went on to say that the driver was not injured but was in shock.

The police are on the scene.

The operations manager also reported traffic chaos on site, but this should not hinder Bybanen.

– Dahl-Michelson said the bus was empty and there were no passengers on board.

At 21:48, police reported that the traffic situation had improved, but the access road to Bygarasjen was blocked.

“It is unknown how long the closure will last,” police wrote.

Daniel Sandven of Bygarasjen said the entrance was open again on Wednesday morning.
