Resistance operations against Israeli forces in Gaza are increasingly being conducted as joint operations, primarily involving the Qassam Brigades and the Quds Brigades.

The new strategy suggests that the Palestinian resistance movement now appears as a unified liberation army, rather than individual resistance groups operating in coordinated but ultimately independent ways.

While this tactic is used elsewhere, it is more pronounced in Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza and in the Tal Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

A video shared by Palestinian resistance forces on Tuesday is a case in point.

In newly released footage, the Quds Force, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, showed Israeli vehicles being hit by Yassin-105 missiles in the Shabra refugee camp in the center of Rafah.

The brigade said the operation was carried out jointly with Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades.

The footage showed Israeli troops attacking Israeli vehicles from inside destroyed buildings and attacking an Israeli military vehicle that was hit after opening fire at resistance fighters.

The footage also showed several fighters from both groups firing mortar shells at Israeli soldiers and military vehicles that had entered the camp.

Here are the latest statements from Gaza’s two main resistance forces and the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.

These statements were communicated via their Telegram channel and are published here in their original form.

Qassam Brigades (Hamas)

“After returning from the front, our fighters reported that they had successfully hit a Merkava tank with a Yassin 105 shell near the Al-Quds Open University in the Tal Sultan neighborhood west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

“Yesterday (Monday) at dawn, Qassam militants successfully engaged a Zionist special forces unit in close combat using grenades and machine guns. Our fighters confirmed that three Qassam militants were killed in the Canadian area of the Tal Sultan neighborhood west of the city of Rafah.
