On Wednesday, the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fawzi Lakja, received members of the Moroccan national football team delegation in the hall.
Lakja will travel to Uzbekistan next Sunday to host a delegation from the Moroccan national team as they prepare to participate in their fourth consecutive World Cup finals after Thailand in 2012, Colombia in 2016 and Lithuania in 2020.
At the beginning of the reception held at the Mohammed VI Stadium, Fawzi Lakja once again congratulated the national football team for winning the African Cup for the third time and qualifying for the World Cup finals, which will be held in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6. He called on them to pay tribute to Moroccan football in this global tournament and to provide a level worthy of the title.
During the reception, Fawzi Lakja reviewed at the venue the latest preparations made by the national football team for this global forum, saying that the Royal Moroccan Football League provides Moroccan elites with all the possibilities for success and is a model.
The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation stressed that participation in the World Cup finals is something that only those who have participated know its value, and stressed the need to achieve positive results in this international forum, especially after the experience gained by the national element, which ranks sixth in this type of football, according to the latest classification published by FIFA.
