Kyrgyzstan schools are short of 1,335 teachers

AKIPRESS website – As of August 20, Kyrgyzstan’s schools are short of 1,335 teachers, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan.
Among them, there are 493 teachers in Bishkek, 292 teachers in Chuy Oblast, 137 teachers in Batken Oblast, 115 teachers in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 110 teachers in Jalal Abad Oblast, 71 teachers in Talas Oblast, 58 teachers in Osh Oblast, 42 teachers in Osh Oblast, and 17 teachers in Naryn Oblast.
The greatest demand for teachers of mathematics, Russian, English, informatics and physics is in schools where the medium of instruction is Russian.
