Kuwait Direct Aid performs 400 eye surgeries in Moka

Today, Sunday, the Yemeni office of the Kuwait Direct Aid Association concluded a medical camp for free eye surgeries in Moka, Taiz Governorate, as part of the ongoing “Kuwait at Your Side” campaign for the ninth consecutive year.
“The camp included 400 cataract surgeries, lens implantation surgeries, examinations of about 3,078 beneficiaries, laboratory and internal examinations, and the distribution of 1,011 brochures on eye diseases and their prevention,” said Ali Batit, regional director of the Yemeni office of Direct Aid.
He noted that the camp also included the provision of medicines to 1,200 beneficiaries and free distribution of sunglasses to 1,210 beneficiaries.
