Chairman of the Union Parliamentary Group Matthias Martinin According to the chairman of the Social Democratic Party Antti Lintermann Its growth plans are based entirely on wishful thinking.

On Friday, the SDP announced its Structure, Employment and Growth Measures as an alternative Petri Oppen (kok) The government’s economic plan.

Martinin considers the Social Democratic alternative extremely irresponsible because, according to him, impact assessments were ignored and huge new costs were hidden between the lines.

Martinen said Lintermann was also pushing Finland aside in the competition for new investment.

– The Social Democrats’ long-awaited jobs plan is a huge disappointment. Martinin said in a press release that Lintmann is pinning his growth plans on wishful thinking.

Criticism of lack of calculation

The Social Democrats promise that through the measures they propose, jobs will be increased by around 120,000 and that the combined positive impact on the public economy in the long term is expected to exceed 6 billion euros. Martinin noted that the expectations of the plan are not based on any reliable calculations, as they have not yet been made.

– Lindtman’s performance was full of air. Once again, the huge new costs were hidden between the lines, and the impact of the presentation on the budget was completely absent from the proposal. Martinin said that Lindtman’s SDP had made a habit of not considering the effect of its presentation at all.

He said the Social Democrats’ package was based on assumptions.

– Economic and employment policies based on expectations and wishes are far from responsible. The Finnish economy is in a serious crisis. Lindtman seems to be completely blind to this fact.

Industrial Policy in the Nourifield

Martinin also pointed out that the Social Democratic Party’s industrial policy proposals were completely unscrupulous.

– Lindtman talks about new investments, but again, higher taxes for companies. In the Democratic model, good tax credits for government will be completely diluted. With SDP’s medicines, Lindtman will take Finland out of the competition for new investments.
