Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has cleared all debts to the Federal Tax Service (FTS). The fighter paid the full amount of 302 million rubles. The news was reported by the SHOT Telegram channel.
Earlier, enforcement proceedings were launched against Khabib. The IRS blocked all his accounts, including his charitable foundation and the Eagles Football Club Union. Nurmagomedov’s accounts and properties worth 79 million rubles were seized.
Nurmagomedov last fought American Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020. Khabib won by technical submission in the second-round stoppage. He has 29 wins and no losses in mixed martial arts.
