In Kazakhstan, military personnel will be banned from gambling and playing exciting games.
Musavat.com cited local media reports that a draft law on the issue has been published and is currently under active discussion.
The project states that changes will be made to the disciplinary rules of the armed forces, other units and formations. Under these changes, servicemen will be prohibited from participating in gambling games involving money or other property, betting on other valuables.
Violation of this prohibition will be considered a serious disciplinary offense.
These innovations are related to the anti-gambling addiction law that was passed previously.
Public discussion will run until August 6, 2024.
