Alibek Kairbek from Kazakhstan conquered Mount Elbrus and dedicated this achievement to the 5th World Nomad Games. Artists of the State Musical Theater named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev became the first Kazakh to perform on the top of a mountain.
A Turkish couple named Idir and Burak left Ankara for Astana with their two-year-old son. They traveled not by plane or train, but by a private bus they had prepared, called “Nomad”. Their goal was to watch the fifth World Nomad Games, which would be held in the capital in September.
The bus is from 1982 and the owner of the family made it comfortable and turned it into a garage.
