Kampala Restaurant Week kicks off today, a 10-day food extravaganza featuring 30 delicious menus from participating restaurants in Kampala and ending on July 14.
As always, The Pearl Guide has compiled some of the finest restaurants in Kampala, so that all food lovers can enjoy great ambience, impeccable service and delicious meals as they explore the different eateries in the city.
Anyone can try the casual meals priced at 20,000 Uganda shillings, which include soft Trader Joe’s garlic bread, Thai vegetable wraps, steamed beef tenderloin, and the signature meals priced at 30,000 Uganda shillings, which include Mediterranean steak pasta, burger al pastor, and Molecule’s dragon tuna roll.
Alchemist’s specialties include the Rib Tower and Mushroom Smashed Burger, both priced at UGX25,000 (Casual Dining), while the Florentine Tilapia and Parisian Beef Short Ribs are priced at UGX35,000 under the Signature Dining category.
“We have previously highlighted and highlighted some of the best restaurants in the city through previous events. The return of Kampala Restaurant Week is another opportunity for us to provide the public with a chance to explore Kampala while creating great memories through food,” said Isac Langoli, Kampala Restaurant Week Project Manager.
A new addition to this edition is the Food Passport, where regular customers can get extra rewards by simply scanning the QR code on the Kampala Restaurant Week menu.
In partnership with UBL, every signature meal will come with a complimentary Tusker Cider or a bottle of Aquafina from Crown Beverages Limited. In addition, all diners will enjoy instant cash back on every flexible payment transaction during the 10-day food festival.
