Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris Democrats surprised by taking the stage even before the president at the convention Joe Biden Harris is not expected to join Biden on stage until later. He will give his formal remarks on Thursday.
– It’s going to be a great week, Harris said after taking the stage.
Although the performance was short, he had the audience cheering and thanked Biden for his “historic leadership.”
– I want to start by celebrating our incredible President Joe Biden.
– Joe, thank you for your historic leadership, thank you for your lifetime of service to our country, and for all that you will continue to do, we are forever grateful, thank you Joe. America will be forever grateful.

The Vice President went on to admire how diverse people came together in Chicago and how everyone was united by a shared vision for the country’s future.
– In November, we as a nation declared with one voice that we are moving forward.
“Let us fight for the ideas we are passionate about and always remember that when we fight, we win,” Harris said.
After a brief speech, he walked away Beyoncé’s free– Match the tune of the song.
