At present, there has been no official reaction from the political and judicial authorities.After his arrest in April 2021, Lionel Régis Dounda was tried and sentenced by the Central African Court to 10 years of forced labor, a fine of 3 million CFA francs and a ban on any activity in the country.
He was convicted of embezzlement and forgery of the state seal.
