Julio Chávez, deputy of the PSUV and member of the Commune Council, assured that during the national public consultation next Sunday (August 25), in addition to defining the public project, the events that occurred after 28J will be analyzed.
“This is a way of responding to the extreme right in Venezuela, which is disregarding the constitution and even trying to circumvent democracy,” he explained in an interview with Esther Quiaro on Al Instante space of United Radio.
He believes that what happened after the presidential election shows that the opposition is trying to “impose with blood and fire an option that does not actually have the support of the majority of the Venezuelan people.”
He believes that “these non-peaceful outbreaks must be addressed through more participation, more democracy and the exercise of sovereignty, and that is what will happen this Sunday.”
The Palatino member also announced this Sunday that “more than 4,505 public circuits from all over the country will be called together to continue the process of returning the power to execute and decide on development projects to the original peoples.”
“I believe this will bury the violent agenda and those attempts that put us on the path of confrontation and civil war,” he insisted.
