Funeral services for Juanita Frances Russell will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Commonwealth Mission Baptist Church, located on Commonwealth Boulevard in Elizabeth Manor. The Rev. Jerry Josey will officiate. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery on Fox Hill Road.
She is survived by: a daughter, Nina Angela Nairn; two sisters, Sharon Russell and Alexandria Diana Rodgers; a brother, Officer Ricardo S.J. Russell, RBPF #5043; a sister-in-law, Brenda-Lee Russell; two brothers-in-law, Perez Rodgers and Shawn Serrette; nieces, Re-Khanna and Re-Stella Russell, Shanel Serette, Sharday Bethell, Shaine Bethel and Shardon Lewis; nephews, Foster and Staniel Russell, Re-Naldo Russell and Shawn Serrette Jr.; a nephew-in-law, Andrew Lewis; a great-niece, Samara Russell; great-nephews, Foster Jr. and Sorin Lewis; an aunt, Rachel Edgecombe; an aunt, Rose Edgecombe; and many first, second and third cousins, including: Sherrlyn North-Fowler, Sidney North, Officer #853 Victor Taylor, Peter Edgecombe, Sailor Charles Jr., Constable Colintino Edgecombe, Monique Adderley, Bridgette Bodie, Tracy Hick, Dude Jr., Maddison and Anthony Edgecombe, Dequan, Sarah and Levi Lowe Jr., Charles, Micheal, Captain Stephen Russell, Christopher, Keith and Vincent Russell, Monique Farrington, Antoinette Russell, David Bethel, Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at the East Sunrise Funeral Home, #183 Baillou Hill Road and Cordeaux Avenue, on Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and again at the church on Saturday between 9 a.m. and the time of services.
