The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ships JS Ariake and PSS KEDAM conducted an important goodwill exercise in offshore waters on August 20. The main purpose of the exercise was to enhance boarding and inspection capabilities and strengthen cooperation between the JMSDF and Palau’s maritime law enforcement agencies.
