A massive new work of public art has officially become part of the Jersey City landscape, with a new development boasting a 46,000-square-foot mural that hopes to become a new local landmark.

Urby commissioned Argentinian-Spanish artist Felipe Pantone to design a mural for the south side of the building, covering all 25 floors of the development. Pantone’s work explores dynamism, change, the digital revolution and themes relevant to our times.

Composed of bold geometric patterns, gradients and vibrant colours, the mural is Pantone’s largest artwork to date. Designed to create a sense of vibration, the artwork took 25 days to complete.
