Jenniffer González Colón, the gubernatorial candidate of the New Progressive Party (PNP), convened more than 60 municipal presidents and aspiring legislators on Wednesday to discuss a work plan for the November elections.

“The presence of all of these candidates reflects our party’s unwavering commitment to the future of our island and to unity in the face of the general election. These leaders have demonstrated a dedication and passion to serve their communities, and together we will work tirelessly and with a sense of urgency to achieve the change and progress that Puerto Rico needs,” said González Colón.

Among the municipal presidents or aspirants present were representatives of Aguada, Aguadilla, Adejuntas, Arecibo, Arroyo, Barcelona, ​​Caguas, Carolina, Cay, Cider, Como, Comorio, Dorado, Guana, Guayama, Hormigros, Isabela, Jayuya, Juana Diaz, Juncos, Lares, Loiza, Luquillo, Mayagüez, Morovis, Naguabo, Penulas, Ponce, Quebradillas, Rincon, Rio Grande, Grande Savannah, Salinas, Santa Isabel, High Toa, High Trujillo, Low Vega, Villalba and Yabucoa.

González-Colon also met with candidates for the Legislature and Senate.

“Unity is our greatest strength. Each of the candidates here has earned the trust of the people, and with a clear and united vision, we will be able to give our people renewed hope that things can be done better and problems can be solved. We are committed to working together to ensure that every corner of Puerto Rico is heard, seen, and served by our government,” he concluded.
