Fifteen-year-old Jelissa Lingaard from Wageningen was crowned the new Miss Courantem in Kabalebo on Saturday evening.
The judging panel had a tough task as the contestants performed very well in all rounds.
Like the previous two editions, this year there were nine Aboriginal girls aged between 14 and 19 participating in the pageant.
This is the story of Aliyah Lingaard, Britney Soerdien, Jelissa Lingaard, Marelva Sabajo, Shanice Sabajo, Sharaisa Samuels, Samora Valenzuela, Sue-ann Wajacabo and Vanithy Wajacabo.
