Jeddah Governor inspects training and education programs at Al-Fakih Medical College

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Al Jarawi, Governor of Jeddah, visited today the Fakeeh College of Medical Sciences in Jeddah, where His Royal Highness Dr. Mazen Suleiman Fakeeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the College and Chairman of Fakeeh Medical Group, and His Royal Highness Dr. Muhammad Saleh Al-Ardawi, President of the College, toured the departments and units of the College and visited the Department of Medicine. The College’s educational equipment, as well as the College’s educational and training programs and activities, aim to produce qualified medical and health professional graduates in accordance with national and international educational standards, contribute to scientific research and community service, while meeting the needs of the Saudi labor market for professional competence and promoting postgraduate studies, scientific research and innovation.

His Royal Highness also visited the technical and information equipment of the Library of the Faculty of Education.

His Highness then went to the conference hall and watched a visual presentation that told the history of the college since its founding in 2003 AD, and its expansion in recent years, which has seen the college graduate a total of (1,420) graduates in 14 specialties, with the aim of providing the Kingdom with qualified Saudi health personnel in medicine, nursing and pharmacy, and contributing to the localization of healthcare providers.

His Royal Highness then toured the Academy’s Anatomy Suite and accompanying exhibitions.

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Al Jarawi met with a number of male and female students studying at the academy and encouraged them to study hard and become a good foundation for serving the country.

Finally, His Royal Highness took a group photo with the college staff, male and female students.
