Jean Price-Mars Diplomatic Academy becomes member of CORPUHA to strengthen training of future Haitian diplomats
The Jean Price-Mars Diplomatic Academy has taken a new step by becoming a full member of the Conference of Rectors, Presidents and Directors of Higher Education Institutions in Haiti (CORPUHA). The Minister announced on August 20, 2024 that this formal integration follows the approval of the CORPUHA Board of Directors following a membership application submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This partnership promises to open up new perspectives for young talents, thus enriching Haiti’s diplomatic landscape. In fact, one of the flagship initiatives planned in the framework is the organization of national competitions. These competitions aim to integrate young people from different backgrounds into the diplomatic field, selected on the basis of merit.
In addition, this membership will allow for a more efficient management of international scholarships, thereby providing Haitian students with better study and training opportunities abroad. The Jean Pryce-Mars Diplomatic Academy will also be better represented in the provinces, which will facilitate the access of young talents living outside the capital to its programs.
