Jamaican sprinters Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville and Ackeem Blake have all qualified for the men’s 100m semi-finals at the Paris Olympics.

The event will be held tomorrow.

Three Jamaican sprinters had mediocre but promising performances in today’s heats.

Thompson, the world leader in the event, was the first of the three to make a move, running an easy 10.00 second time in the first round with commanding momentum.

Next up is Sevilla, who won the fourth round with a score of 9.99.

Black finished second in the sixth run with a time of 10.06, behind South African sprinter Akani Simbine, who clocked 10.03.
