This Saturday afternoon, residents of the Siempre Vivas community in San Juan, Nicaragua, in the Rio San Juan department, saw a beautiful Jaguar crossing the Indio River.
The feline was seen swimming from north to south in the river, right in the Kanokkar area within the wildlife sanctuary.
With this new discovery, the importance of protecting forests and ecosystems to ensure the survival of this iconic species is further reiterated.
