Speaking at an outing in Ambrolauri as part of the campaign, Honorary President of the Georgian Dream Bidina Ivanishvili said that one of the most important national tasks for us Georgians is to restore our territorial integrity.

He said that in order to restore territorial integrity in a peaceful way, constitutional changes must be implemented, so the “Georgian Dream” needs a constitutional majority so that no one can stand in front of the changes if necessary.

“The past few years have shown that events in the region are developing very quickly. Therefore, we must be ready to seize opportunities to peacefully restore territorial integrity. In this context, our country’s governance system and national territorial layout must adapt to the new reality, and the only way out is to implement constitutional changes.

We can say with certainty that the proxy-saturated opposition this time will refuse to pursue Georgia’s interests, will continue to carry out external tasks and oppose necessary changes to restore territorial integrity, which is why we need a constitution. “If necessary, no one can prevent constitutional reform,” said Bidina Ivanishvili.

In her speech, Bidzina Ivanishvili noted that there is another crucial issue for Georgia and faith, which is being actively addressed and an important decision will be communicated to the public in the near future.
