Damaso Zanardo, Director of the ITS Marco Polo Academy, explains that “this training course aims to train a professional who can act in accordance with company processes to prevent the formation of waste and reduce its hazards, and who can also understand how to continue to reuse the waste and recycle the materials if possible. Finally, residual waste can also be treated and realize a value in the form of energy, if you know how to act. There are many career opportunities in transport and shipping companies, plant and treatment managers, public companies that manage environmental services, consulting firms and many types of companies throughout our country. Passing the final exam will lead to a qualification recognized throughout Europe.”
