Israeli occupying forces committed a new massacre of civilians by targeting the Saladin School, an institution affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that houses displaced persons west of Gaza City.
Medical sources told Al Jazeera that the Israeli blast killed seven people and injured others. Officials from Gaza’s ambulance and emergency medical services said one martyr and one seriously injured person had been rescued by their staff following the attack on the Saladin school.

The Saladin School is the tenth refugee center to be bombed by the occupation forces since the beginning of this month. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, from October 2023 to August 7, 2024, the Israeli occupation completely destroyed more than 117 schools and universities and partially destroyed 332 schools and universities.
