The missiles that hit Tel Aviv today were fired from the humanitarian zone of Khan Younis, the Israeli Army said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement added that “humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip was stopped based on information the army had about missile attacks by the Qassam Brigades on Tel Aviv.”
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced earlier today that they had bombarded the city of Tel Aviv and its suburbs with two M90 missiles.
The Qassam Brigades said the bombing was “in response to the Zionist massacre of civilians and the deliberate displacement of our people.”
