Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian submitted on Sunday his proposed ministerial composition plan for the 14th government to the Presidium of the Islamic Consultative Council, awaiting its confidence.
The ministerial lineup is as follows:
– Minister of Education and Higher Education: Ali Reza Kazemi.
– Minister of Communications and Information Technology: Sattar Hashmi.
-Security Minister: Ismail Khatib.
– Minister of Economy and Finance: Abdel Nasser Hemmati.
– Minister of Foreign Affairs: Abbas Araghchi.
– Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education: Muhammad Reza Zafarqandi.
– Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare: Ahmed Midri.
-Minister of Agriculture: Gholam Reza Nouri.
-Minister of Justice: Amin Hussein Rahimi.
-Defense Minister: Aziz Nasir Zadeh.
– Minister of Roads and Urban Development: Farzana Sadiq.
– Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade: Mohammad Atabak.
-Minister of Science, Research and Technology: Hossein Simaei.
– Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance: Abbas Salehi.
– Minister of Home Affairs: Iskandar Momeni.
– Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Traditional Industries: Mohammad Reza Salehi Amiri.
-Minister of Petroleum: Mohsen Paknejad.
– Minister of Energy: Abbas Aliabadi.
– Minister of Sports and Youth: Ahmeti Denyamali.

The proposed minister’s competence is due to be reviewed by representatives of a parliamentary committee this week and in the public hall of the Islamic Consultative Council from next week.
Hojjat al-Islam Ali Reza Salimi, spokesman for the Islamic Consultative Council’s presidency body, said that starting from next week, August 17, the qualifications of the proposed ministers will be discussed and verified at the plenary sessions of the Islamic Consultative Council, which will be held in two sessions in the parliament hall in batches.

The proposed list of ministers is also scheduled to be voted on in the Islamic Consultative Conference on Wednesday, August 21, in order to boost confidence in the 14th government.
In this regard, Iranian Vice President for Political Affairs Mohammad Jafar Qaim Pana said that the new government includes all political movements in the country. He stressed that the presidential office is based on the principles of people’s satisfaction and respect for human dignity, laying the foundation for the implementation of specific plans and programs.
