According to CNN, Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations said such accusations were baseless.
The delegation went on to say in its statement that “the Islamic Republic of Iran has neither the intention nor the motivation to interfere in the U.S. presidential election.”
“If the U.S. government truly believes in the validity of its allegations, it must provide us with relevant evidence, if any, and we will respond accordingly,” the delegation added.
