The Women in Science Intensive is entering its third round! In 2024, we are looking for 20 outstanding women in science from a wide range of disciplines to join our one-year intensive program.
Benefits of Intensive Courses
- The intensive course program offers selected candidates multiple opportunities: Participation in two high-level milestone events in Berlin: the International Spring Gathering and the International Fall Gathering during the Falling Walls Science Summit 2024, and includes travel scholarships for both events;
- Participate in a series of online and offline skill-building workshops on topics including leadership, business building, grant applications, etc.
- Peer exchange with international young talents in various disciplines;
- Get unique opportunities to network with female scientific role models and leaders in academia, politics, business and media, including our official partners (Bayer, Elsevier Foundation, Stiftung Medicine, Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft);
- Gain access to networking and peer exchange opportunities with members of the Falling Walls community, including Falling Walls Venture, Falling Walls Engage, and Falling Walls Lab;
- Become an active member of the inspiring community of women in science through events and relevant communication channels;
- Expand reach and visibility through the Falling Walls website and social media channels;
- Opportunities to gain mentoring support from role models in academia, industry, and related fields.
