Instagram helps prevent distractions with new silent mode.
Instagram is doubling the number of photos or videos users can share in their feed carousel, from the current 10 files allowed to 20, a capacity that has begun rolling out globally.
The carousel format was first implemented in 2017 and since then the company has been adding alternatives to edit it – such as being able to delete just one of the photos that make it up, without having to delete the entire publication – or the option to add music.
To publish a carousel, you must visit your user profile and choose the “Multiple Selection” option after selecting the sources from which you want to merge photos and videos.
While the previous limit was 10, the app now includes a notification indicating that its capacity has been expanded to 20, as some users have been able to test and Engadget reports.
Currently, it is not clear when the feature will be launched globally, in which regions it will be available, and whether it will be for users of iOS and Android OS devices.
