Modern work culture has changed many things in people’s lives. It is no longer necessary to be tied to a workplace all day, and it is no longer necessary to be tied to a job at all. Today, more and more people are choosing remote or freelance work arrangements, so companies are also allowing employees to make these choices. In some professions, you can earn more if you work as a freelancer. These features and market needs have given rise to shared workspaces.
More than a year has passed since the Constitution Church in Tbilisi. 4. Opened the public workspace “Old Boy”, which was created with the aim of giving people the opportunity to work freely and independently in a calm and comfortable environment.
“People who come to us will see a very spacious and bright space with a large yard where they can also work. Our very friendly team provides them with the best conditions so that they can work without worrying about anything. They can have lunch here and have a lot of fun in the evening. We offer a complex service where people can work well and then have a good rest or have fun,” said Alexander Bagration-Davitashvili, one of the founders of “Old Boy”.
The communal workspace can accommodate up to 100 people at a time, but Old Boys also offers private offices to its clients.
With the financial support of TBC, the founders were able to develop this complex service, which, in addition to a communal workspace, also includes a cafe, a bar and a restaurant. The future goal is to expand the business, but first they will observe the needs of their customers and only then will they consider in which direction to develop the service.
