The Delta region of Egypt has arrested a “chemical laboratory technician” who ran a factory in one of his apartments, specializing in the manufacture and production of the drug “Ice Shabu” in the Mansheyet Al-Bakri area of ​​the “Than Mahalla district.”

The 36-year-old chemist was found to have manufactured the most dangerous narcotics, hashish oil and other unlicensed narcotics and then sold them to traders and suppliers in various provinces of Delta. He was discovered by chance while delivering some narcotics. According to Al-Arabiya, the postman became suspicious of him and informed the police, who discovered the incident after checking the package.

An official security source from the Gharbia Security Service said that during the raid on the apartment where the factory was located, five tons of drugs, narcotic drugs, equipment and tools were seized and sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Counselor Imad Salem, the first Attorney General of the East Tanta Prosecutor’s Office in Gharbia Province, decided to detain the chemist for four days pending investigation and assigned investigators to arrest his accomplices and send random samples to laboratories to verify their identities and origins.
